Cook/Chef/Kitchen staff
Our small kitchen team focuses on delivering amazing seasonal produce in a nourishing & creative way. We are open 7 days a week between 6:30am-3pm and have a strong focus on customer service and community.
The Role
Cook or kitchen hand
Full time or casual - up to 38 hours available
One weekend day required, although two weekend days is an added bonus
Pay $32.31 - $37.55 + weekend & holiday loading
A typical day looks like:
Opening or closing of kitchen
Maintaining quality control amongst food preparation and food service
Working alongside front of house and at times helping serve guests
Following all food safety measures
Collaborating with a supportive team while contributing positively to our workplace culture.
The ideal candidate must have:
A positive attitude that contributes to our values and workplace culture
Previous experience working a commercial kitchen
Passion for food
Strong and polite communication
Proactive and the willingness to take initiative
Punctual
Be able to keep a clean workspace
Commitment and reliability
