Cook/Chef/Kitchen staff

Our small kitchen team focuses on delivering amazing seasonal produce in a nourishing & creative way. We are open 7 days a week between 6:30am-3pm and have a strong focus on customer service and community.

The Role

  • Cook or kitchen hand

  • Full time or casual - up to 38 hours available

  • One weekend day required, although two weekend days is an added bonus

  • Pay $32.31 - $37.55 + weekend & holiday loading

A typical day looks like:

  • Opening or closing of kitchen

  • Maintaining quality control amongst food preparation and food service

  • Working alongside front of house and at times helping serve guests

  • Following all food safety measures

  • Collaborating with a supportive team while contributing positively to our workplace culture.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A positive attitude that contributes to our values and workplace culture

  • Previous experience working a commercial kitchen

  • Passion for food

  • Strong and polite communication

  • Proactive and the willingness to take initiative

  • Punctual

  • Be able to keep a clean workspace

  • Commitment and reliability
